
A lifelong singer, Linnea’s voice has been described as soulful, smoky and smooth. She is a vocalist, songwriter, and producer.
Growing up listening to the jazz greats, from Ella Fitzgerald to Billie Holiday, she developed fluency in the Great American Songbook. At age 18, she moved from the Pacific Northwest to New Orleans, to study music in the birthplace of jazz. Her sound was nurtured by renowned mentors, including Ashlin Parker, Jazzmeia Horn, Greta Matassa, and Jesse McBride.
She has undeniable stage presence, with years of live performance experience under her belt. She has performed at venues and festivals around the world, most notably, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Jazz Ascona, located in Switzerland.
Combining the smoky, sultry tone of jazz with contemporary production technology, Linnea’s original music is revolutionizing the modern pop sound. Her production style synthesizes samples into broad, ethereal soundscapes. Linnea’s original music has been described as “ethereal bedroom pop”.
